October 2012 Weddings

Woo!

FI started his new job today. He called me on his lunch break and said he might get Fri off cause they are doing CPR training and he is already CPR certified and his certification is good for another 18 months. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING.

Meanwhile, we were supposed to meet with our pastor this evening and DH won't get home from work until around 6, and the pastor has another meeting at 7. basically he is booked all week except maybe Thurs.

My mom decided she wanted to get Mani/Pedi done Fri - I was going to skip this because with all the work I have to do I didn't want to worry about nails. But she wants to go so I have been trying to find a good nail salon. My mom said to me well I don't mind if you pick a place in the mall or something either. But none of those places have websites, and I go to the mall so infrequently... ah i am so stressed out

Try yelp.com for the nail salons.  They usually have the hours and the price ranges on the page (if not, the mall website would have a listing with a phone number).  I would hesitate to go to a place in the mall (unless it's a spa place, not just a nail place), not only for quality reasons, but also they typically have poor ventilation.  But, I'm really picky about where I will get my nails done - it has to be clean, have good ventilation, and they need to do a good job on my cuticles and the area around my actual nails.

Hopefully your FI can get Friday off and your meeting with the pastor goes smoothly.  We met with ours on Saturday and it took ~45 minutes to go over our ceremony readings and last minute details.

<div>Thanks so much! I NEVER get my nails done - I mean NEVER - so I have no idea what to look for. I called a bridal salon in the area and made an appointment for everyone for Fri afternoon.  They want a 50% deposit and I'm so nervous!! I was planning on having everyone pay for their own services, but obviously that doesn't work if I have to pay half upfront. </div><div>
</div><div>I checked YELP and none of the places have any reviews. Le sigh... OH WELL. </div><div>
</div><div>I also scheduled this salon to do my half up-do Sat AM at 9:00am. I don't know what I'm gonna do after that though. I expect it will take someone like less than an hour to do my hair and then I'll be 15 min away from both church and suite. LOL. What fun. </div>
