Milwaukee photographer recommendations

I am looking for any suggestions for photographers in the Milwaukee area. Any recommendations?

Our wedding is still a year out, and we're doing our E-pics in two weeks, but here were the people we met with:

-Our photographer is Mia Stevens (http://www.miasphoto.com/). She's professional, has a lot of experience, we like her style, and she was very reasonably priced we felt.

-We met with Heather Cook Elliott (http://web.me.com/heathercookelliott/Site/home.html ). Honestly, if our photography budget was twice what it is, we probably would have gone with Heather. She does beautiful work.

-We also met with JBe Photography (http://www.jenniferbrindleyphotography.com/). We liked her photojournalistic style, but thought her prices were a bit high.

-We also met with Sarah Immel Photography (http://www.sarahimmelphotography.com/). Again, liked her style, but just didn't feel as comfortable with her. She does have a lot of experience, too.

-And the fifth photographer we met with was Nicholas Norbert Photography (http://www.nicholasnorbert.comhttp://www.nicholasnorbert.com). He has a great eye for pictures, but he didn't seem to have a whole lot of experience ... noticeably less than other people we met with.

(The whole "experience" thing was important to us, as was their photojournalistic style.) Feel free to message me if you have any questions about these photographers.

I always suggest my photographer, knotties are probably tired of hearing it! But Lisa Mathewson has truly been wonderful to work with! We had our engagement session last month and it was so much fun The pictures turned out fabulous! She sent the digital negatives to us, touched up, within a week. She had a website and a blog so you can see her latest work and her favorite work. She has great packages at different price points to fit your needs and budget! She has definitley been my favorite vendor to work with through the entire wedding planning process so far!

I'm with kirschy - we used Lisa Mathewson and LOVED our pics (e-pics in Feb, wedding in April - look for Kristen and Joel on her blog). She has a great eye and is just a wonderful person to work with!

although we have not had any photographs done yet by her I am very excited to get the process started. She has been professional through out the whole process and on the ball with unique ideas and open to anything we suggest or are thinking about. She also has gone out of her way to try and find a unique location for our engagement session which is scheduled for the beginning of June.

Something specifically that I really appreciated is that she does not have set prices and will build a package unique to each couple that inquires. She was able to meet our budget and exceed the expectations of what I could afford in a wedding photographer. Her prices are reasonable and will work for any budget large or small.

I am 100% confident that my wedding photos will be fantastic and worthy to display for a lifetime!

My fiance and I are going with an Illinois based photographer, but doesn't charge any extra to come up here. We're getting 6 hours of coverage and a free engagement photo shoot session for $575. He is so nice and very receptive to what style you want your pictures. He will go anywhere you want and will take certain shots you have in mind. I don't know what his website is, but he has a page on facebook. His name is Edward Esmao. If you end up getting in touch with him, tell him Jon and Corrie sent you!

www.TVSPhoto.com - They are based out of Madison, but we are located in Kenosha and they are doing ours. Check out their portfolio - they are fabulous! It's definitely not your "average" wedding photography. They are so great to work with, we've changed our wedding date several times and they have had no problem being flexible with us.
