How much did you pay for engagement photo shoot?

Just trying to get an idea. Also, how long after your engagement did you schedule it?

    Our engagement photos were included as part of our wedding package with Kara Schultz, but I know there are photographers that will just do an engagement photo session.  We are getting married this September and we just our photos this past June.

    Our photographers (Miller & Miller - www.chicagoillinoisweddingphotography.com ) included it with our package so I am not much help there. We got engaged in February, doing our engagement pics in September 2011 and our wedding is in Sept of 2012. I wanted to have enough time to get them back and use them for save the dates.  Good luck!

    We had our engagement photos done 10 months before our wedding. Most photographers include the e-pics as a wedding package...by itself it can cost 200-450 (depending on the photographers experience)

    I used Erin Stefanik Photography, www.erinstefanikphotography.com. She is out of Tinley Park but has traveled.

    Cost for engagement session was $200, that included approx 3 hours of shooting, mileage, etc. (But we did not use all 3 hours, maybe an hour or so, then my face hurt from smiling!), and CD of pics.

    Oh, pictures were done maybe 3-4 weeks after engagement.

    Ours were also included with our photography package, from Creative Wedding Package, http://www.creative-wedding-package.com/

    We did two sessions, the first was in the fall; about 2.5 months after we were engaged, the second was in the spring-8 months after enagement and 5 months before the wedding.

    We did two. The first, we paid a student photographer $100 to go around Chicago in October (we were engaged in Dec.) and then a second one with our photographer that was included in our package in May (wedding in June).

    Paid $85 for a student photographer who is EXCELLENT! He did them right after we were engaged (which was a while ago) , we plan on doing more next month! I'm excited.
