    I googled this and found a cute wording for my daughter's reception that was about 2 months after they ran off to the JOP. You might try there.

    But I would very strongly suggest that you take your full names out of your post.  I have found your wedding registry, and other personal info about you.  The interweb is a big bad place, and you need to protect yourself.  There are rumors that someone's entire wedding was cancelled by others from these boards when the bride made everyone angry with her posts.  Just a word of caution.

    If the celebration is not formal, you could try something like ... "We got married in September, please join us for a celebration on XXX."
