Where is everyone renting tuxes? I was going to look into John's Tuxedos and Men's Warehouse. Any reviews on either one or are there any other suggestions? Thanks!

We went with John's Tuxedos. My fiance went to both John's and Men's Wearhouse. Both places were in the same price range, and the service was much better at John's. The salesperson at John's was very knowledgeable and gave us some great advice. We felt like they were more concerned with helping us than just making a sale. Also, we're paying $50 for them to pick up the tuxes from the hotel so we won't have to worry about getting them back to the store. Hope this helps!

We used mens warehouse, but only because we live out of state. Most of our groomsmen dont live in NOLA but in the surrounding areas and it made more sense to go with mens warehouse bc they could go to any mens warehouse to get fitted and then pick them up at a mens warehouse in NOLA or where they got fitted. We havent had a problem at all (yes! knock on wood! ha!) We dont get married for another 2 weeks so i dont have a full review yet. but so far so good. A friend of mine used Johns and she said they were great to work with and everything was perfect!

We went with Men's Wearhouse because my girls' dresses are with David's Bridal, and the colors are coordinated, which is nice. Also, I have some big and tall guys that Men's Warehouse can fit. If you can, try to make an appointment at Men's Wearhouse during some weekday downtime so they won't be busy. We went once when they were swamped (terrible), and went back when they were virtually empty (great experience--they sat down with us, went over everything). Good luck!

We went to Men's Warehouse by Lakeside Mall on a whim yesterday and the store manager helped us. She was SO nice. We chose them becuase a lot of the GM are from OOT. We got a Calvien Klein suit with all the extra stuff for 180, plus I got 40 off b/c I signed up at a bridal show, but I didn't know I was going to get that at the time, so it was 150 for everything with tax.

I didn't think they were pushy or anything, and siad that we could change anything if we wanted to at a later date. You can also check online who got measured in the party and check on the status of the party on an online accout.

I went with Men's Warehouse by Lakeside Mall... They were extremely helpful, not pushy, and gave very good advice with the colors and everything. The manager even went out of her way to go to another store just so that my fiance could try on a suit that they didnt have in their own store. You can't beat the great customer service you receive here. To say we were not knowledgeable about anything, we walked out with ease and had a great experience with the one on one demonstrations we received.

John's Tuxedos!!!! They are awesome! They own all of their stock so everything is in-house and they have a tailor on staff just in case you need something pinned or hemmed at the last minute.

THe Men's Wearhouse in Oakwood mall on this Westbank really came through for FI and I during Mardi Gras. We got invited to a ball the night before, so we only had the day of the ball to find a tux. Not only was she able to pull together a rental tux, she ended up finding a stunning but discontinued Calvin Klein tux for a cheaper price than renting! Couple that with the fact that all of our groomsmen live in different areas, and we'll definitely be going with MW.
