Great wedding venue for 2200 or less

My fiance and I are looking for a venue that is lower than 2200 for a Saturday in Kansas city mo or kansas city ks . It also must include table, chairs, glass and flatware. Does anyone know a great space that has all of that???

Well, I've heard the Rhapsody in Independence is affordable.  I don't know if you want to go that far out though.

Do you want to bring in ur own food or is that 2200 including food?

I think we could help a bit more if we knew a few details.  Do you have a specific area in the metro you would like to be in?  What must the $2200 include (rental fee, linens, food, alcohol, etc.)? How many guests are you anticipating?

There is a kansas city wedding magazine.  I can't remember the exact title, that my photographer gave me.  In the back he had a list of venues and what they included, how many people they accommodate, and a ball park price.  That may be where u should look

I found the magazine very helpful when I was starting out.  We knew we wanted to bring in our own catering, and the chart in the back helped narrow that down as well.

The Rhapsody in Independence is very affordable from what I've heard, and you can bring in your own food and alcohol.

Ditto others though.  It helps to have a general area that you're looking for, and if you need to be able to bring in food/beverages since that's often the part that gets really expensive.  Also, how many guests?  That can make a huge difference.

That magazine is called KC Weddings and I believe it comes out twice a year.  I imagine the Fall/Winter issue will be coming out soon.  You can sign up for a free issue online and it will be sent to your home.

Check out The Villa near the plaza! Also these 2 are not in KC Mo, but they're pretty close and affordable---The Pavillion (in Overland Park) and The Ramadda Inn on SMPKWAY is really affordable and they're remodeling it and everything. Also, check out Californos in Westport. Good Luck!!

My wedding venue is Chapel Ridge Banquet Center in Lee's Summit, it's perfect for what we're wanting. It doesn't come with the plates or flatware but I believe you can rent them. They normally go for 1,600 on a Saturday, we're getting married on a Sunday so it's only 500 dollars for 5 hours. They're really flexible.

I know I am responding late so I don't know if you'll see this or not... but you should check into Lenexa Conference Center.  It's only like $1100 to rent and includes tables and chairs.  No glasses/flatware but you could definitely rent or even buy those from another place and still stay within your budget.

Try Sylvester Powell Community Center. There are different rooms depending on the amount of guests and the price is based on hours rented. 9 hours on a Saturday evening is about $1800. The areas are carpeted with nice tables and banquet chairs. For an additional $25 the chairs/tables will be set up according to the floor plan decided by the couple and the coordinator. The are no restrictions on food and drinks. They also offer wedding packages that include AV equipment, linens, and drinks. My Fiance and I have been very pleased with the price and the service we have received.
