Seeking good (reasonable) seamstress

I am hoping to wear my mother's wedding dress from 45 years ago, but need to find a good seamstress to get me there. Can anyone recommend someone good in the Baltimore County area? Thank you!

I am using Diana Adams who is also in Glen Burnie. Sheryl referred me to her.

@Cos - You will love sheryl!!!! She is doing my dress and making my bridesmaid and flower girl dresses so if you see one there that is a brighter champagne color with a black sash they r my dresses!!!!! Let me know what you think! I go on the 29th for my first actual fitting with her.

Thank you for the helpful recommendations. I live near White Marsh, somit sounds like that local suggestion might be perfect. Thanks again and wonderful wedding wishes to all of you!

Did anybody get Nancy's information? Can I have it too? Also I am curious why you ladies are using a seamstress vs. getting alterations at the store. I am just starting dress shopping and found a discontinued dress that may need lots of alterations. The store I am considering has not given me an estimate yet but I get the feeling it's going to be expensive (based on reviews of the store).
