Waiting Game....NWR

One of my best friends and BM's texted me at 6:30 this morning saying her water broke and she was at the hospital and 4 cm dialated.  At 9:30 she texted again saying she was 8 cm dialated.  It's now 1:30 and I have had no updates.  The waiting game is killing me!! I'm obsessively checking hers and her husband's fb to see if there are updates before I get them.  We are going to FI's grandparents' house in about 20 mins and cell phone service is spotty so I'm hoping I hear news by then.  I can't wait!! She wasn't due until Feb. 10th and this is her first baby. 

Sorry, just had to share my excitement (and suspense).  I'll update when I get home from FI's grandparents'.

    Come on baby!! That's very exciting. When SIL was in labor I was nuts. I think Ash's SIL also had a baby the same day.

    She had the baby at 3:19pm.  She was keeping her name a secret but it is Madysen Elizabeth.  She was 6 lbs 14 oz, 19 3/4 inches long.  She looks adorable and alert from the pictures.  I can't wait to go see her!  I haven't talked to my friend but I'm assuming everything went well.  I will let her get some rest and take in the whole experience and give her a call tomorrow.  Her husband posted on fb that he was given 2 miracles today: his beautiful baby girl and the Patriots going to the superbowl.  I thought it was cute!

    FI's cousin (who is also friends with her) and I are going to try to see them next weekend then head to another friend's house who's baby shower was yesterday.  I didn't make it to the shower because of the snow and she may be induced anytime now due to high blood pressure so I would love to see her before the baby is born.
