Boys, Boys, Boys

I got a call from the Best Man yesterday saying, "So, I got the invitation and I'm looking at this RSVP card thing.  I know that I'm supposed to check "Accepts," but right underneath the line that says "Reply by," there's an "M" and a line.  What is that?"

Apparently, he called FI before he called me and Fletcher had NO CLUE what BM was talking about.  Then I remembered that FI did help pick out the style of invitation, but he never saw one all put together.  This is the same BM who got engaged to one of my bridesmaids 2 weeks ago.  Watching them plan their wedding is gonna be fun.

Honestly I may have done the same thing before I joined the knot!

LOL yep, boys don't necessarily get stuff like that ... that's why they have moms and a wife, right!?!!! :-)

I'm sure his FI will be more than happy to help him figure anything out that he actually NEEDS to know.  However, she does have her hands full, it seems!
July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

LOL that sounds about right.  I dont know if FI would know what to do with our invited either. Maybe your FI can give him a little tutorial to save you BM some trouble :)

That's OK.  My mom saw the design for the RSVP cards for my wedding and SHE asked me what the M was for, lol.

I guess this is because we didn't send RSVP cards with our invitations. I have no clue what M means. Haha but I have had those moments with FI and his Best Man.

Unfortunately this is common enough that people sometimes forget to put their names on the RSVP card!  So the card comes back and you have no idea who is planning to come!  Hopefully the rest of your guests figure it out!!

And THAT is why I numbered the backs of all the cards to correspond to the Excel spreadsheet of the guest list. :)

I'm thinking that instead of "M__________" I might actually do "Mr/Mrs_____________" on mine so people get it, lol.

Haha this is so funny because I had to double check with my mom about that roughly 9 minutes ago haha. I said, "you just turn the M into the word Mr. or Mrs., right?" So I knew, but I wasn't 100% sure. It can be confusing. My FI definitely would have no clue I bet.
