I haven't seen the movie but I read the book. So many people talked about the book like it was THE greatest book ever and I was just kinda eh about it.
I hated that book so so much. It was graphically disturbing, and there is no way in hell I would want to watch the movie. Reading it was depressing enough. Having to watch it might actually make me suicidal.
I'm thinking the book must be much, much more depressing than the movie because while the movie was sad it felt short and was definitely not uber disturbing.
