Bridal Shop Recommendations

Hi!

I am looking for recommendations for a bridal shop to get my gown.  The time is approaching!  Yikes!  I live in the metro west area and work in Newton.  I am willing to travel within a 20 mile radius from these locations.  Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Oh...any thoughts on going to David's Bridal for your gown?

Thanks!

I went to David's Bridal jon route 1 Danvers, just to get some ideas.  To my surprise four hours later I walked out with not only the perfect wedding gown, but also all my bridesmaids dresses.  The staff wasn't as much help as I would have liked, but I brought a large enterage!!!!LOL  The selection was great and the prices right in my budget.  Good Luck finding the perfect dress!!!

Sometimes just doing a board search on here will give you a lot of great answers without having to put up questions... that seems to happen a lot on here for things like dress shops, florists, photographers, etc....

that being said... here is a little list of what pops up a lot.
Vows in Watertown (Great selection of sample dresses in an array of sizes)
    Precious Memories in Malden
    Priscilla of Boston - Boston
    David's Bridal

    Good Luck!!

I purchased my dress from Camilla's in Arlington and have had a great experience so far.  They have a nice selection and none of their dresses are over $2300 and most that I tried on were  in the $1000 range.

I got my dress from Confetti and Lace in Litteton.

My bridesmaid dresses came from David's.

So far the best experiences I have had are at Alfred Angelo in Dedham and Temptations Bridal in Gardner (probably too far for you).  I still haven't found quite the right dress though...

As far as David's Bridal goes, I had a pretty bad saleswoman in the Natick David's Bridal.  She was hyper yet very inefficient, and would disappear after I tried on each dress, so I had to stand around waiting to try the next one on.  (She was also somewhat rude to a couple of my bridesmaids.)  Luckily, the floor manager stepped in to help, and she was much better.

I have to agree, Precious Memories in Malden.   They have been great so far.   When you first walk in, it may seem a bit disorganized, but as soon as it's your time, it's all about you.  The thing that impressed me the most is that after the first time being there they remembered my name, my mom's and my FMIL when we popped in 3 weeks later to look for mom's dresses.

I tried a bunch of places, but Bride's Choice in Waltham ended up being by far the best!  Great selection in a variety of price ranges.  People are still giving me compliments about my dress almost 6 months later.  Zee the owner really cares and worked so hard for me.  Can't say enough good things and I am REALLY picky!

Thank you all!  I actually ended up going to La Reine in Waltham on a recommendation from a co-worker and got my dress!  They were wonderful!  I'm so happy I was able to find it pretty painlessly : )  Thank you again for all of your thoughts and recommendations!
