Who has been productive today?

- I finalized our ceremony script with the officiant.

- Ordered the VW Beetle for our ring bearer "pillow"

We ordered one in green to go with our wedding colors:

The doors open and I will tie ribbon through the doors that will hold our rings. FI loves VW Beetles and restored one a few summers ago. I love incorporating one of his passions into the ceremony and I think our ring bearer will enjoy getting to carry a toy car rather than a pillow.

- One of my BM's just told me she picked up her dress.

- Today, FI started gathering who will be golfing the day before the wedding and I've been gathering the list of who will be getting their nails done. Hopefully we can make those appointments soon.

My mom (who lives in IL where our wedding is) received our fuchsia rose petals and our rhinestone table runners yesterday!

Love them! They're so pretty! She sent me pics on my phone! Her and my sister had fun separating 3,000 rose petals yesterday lol! They were all stuck together in the package they came in!

We finally have our tasting menu nailed down!

I also started addressing invites

I weighed and measured them this morning and they fall under the normal letter classification, which I'm relieved about. All I need to do now is get more stamps! (I had run out maybe a quarter of the way through, but I still put them all together).

Yesterday I went to Macy's and they gave me a scan gun. Luckily, FI came a little later and managed to talk me out of a lot of what I had scanned (most of them were things I thought were cute and I scanned them because it was fun scanning haha).

I posted on the fb thread but today's checks include:

* Getting black cardstock and metallic markers for favor tags.
* Getting more flowers and more stones for my centerpieces.
* Finding shirts for the RB's.
* Buying new ties for the RB's. I had plain black before but I found ones that are black and royal blue striped.

I had other checks for the weekend, but those just include contacting the florist and the limo company. Waiting to hear back from the limo company.

I have gotten all of the flowers taken care of today (I am using silk since one of my BM has really bad allergies to flowers), started getting invites assembled, worked on BM gifts, and got our menu taken care of!

Jul- Love your VW ring bearer "pillow"

After 5 hours of shopping yesterday I finally found a necklace that I was envisioning for the BMs.

I also picked up my freshly dyed shoes at the bridal store. While we were there I had MOH try on her dress with the jewelry I made them. It looks great!

I finally got the invitation list with addresses from my mom. FMIL was the first to get it back to me. I love her!! Our DIY invitations will be printed this week. Still undecided on favors. I don't know that we'll be able to get what we originally were hoping for. Next I need to order my bridemaids' jewelry and my FI needs to get his and his groomsmen's tuxes taken care of.
