In need of a budget friendly outdoor site...

I'm trying to find a ceremony/reception location with quickness.  My date is August 17, 2012 and we want an outside gardenish wedding in the evening.  We have a VERY modest budget.  We were looking at a place in hocking hills called Glen Laurel but i'm fairly certain they're going to be far too much (they haven't gotten back to me yet).  We're also considering some of the metro parks.  I know we need to reserve a place in a short amount of time if we've a chance of retaining our date.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

definitely go for the metroparks. you might try the german village society. they might have some private homes (that do events) or other ideas for you.
i highly suggest the park of roses. i don't know how expensive the actual ceremony site is, but i know that the shelterhouse (indoor and air-conditioned) is a very affordable backup/rain plan at something like $65/hour.

Thank you for the ideas so far :)  I found out the park of roses costs $500 per 2 hr block and still have'nt been able to get in touch with someone there.  I started looking up tall timbers, which seems nice so far.  I just wish more places provided prices right off the bat...I haven't located info on Dublin Coffman Park yet but still looking.  All info is more than welcome :)

I think there is a really pretty shelter house at the Metro Park called High Banks?  There is an outdoor stone fireplace if I remember correctly!
