Last week I posted about fearing that my sick nana would pass near the wedding and being upset

Today I got the call I had been dreading. My mom told me to leave work ASAP because my nana wasn't doing well. We all went to see her. She can't breathe without oxygen and they are giving her meds to make her comfortable.... The priest came to give her a final blessing and we all said our goodbyes

She held on all day and the nurses asked us to leave. They said sometimes people don't like to let go with everyone around, that they like privacy. Smo we all left. We haven't received "the call" yet but they said it would be tonight or tomorrow

So please keep her in your prayers!

    Will do.  I am so sorry you are going through this.  I just lost my grandma in November and grandpa in April so I get how hard this is going to be.  Just know you have people supporting you and praying for you!

    I am so sorry that you have to go through such a loss at what it supposed to be one of the happiest times in your life.  My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family.

    thanks ladies.i lost my grandpa last september- but it was kind of short and quick.
    this waiting game is the worst- everytime the phone rings i think its "the call"....
    so i appreciate the thoughts and prayers.

    Thinking of you and your family at this time...my grandfather passed away suddenly the night before my birthday. Getting that message was surreal. My grandmother (his wife) passed away over a matter of weeks though, so I definitely know how that waiting game feels. Take care, okay?

    Thoughts and Prayers being sent to you and your entire family at this time.  I have lost all my grandparents (all before I turned 13), so I know what it is like.. Don't be afraid to lean on your family, or to just cry it out because that's what I did...  *HUGS*
