My name is Holly and I'm recently engaged to the love of my life, Thomas. This past New Years we had two of our friends over and were playing games, eating, and having a few drinks...just celebrating the New Years! We're waching Big D NYE on TV and we start to count down from 60. We get to 10 and Thomas gets closer to me and when we hit 5-4-3-2-1 HAPPY NEW YAERS! He comes in for a kiss, fakes out and gets on one knee! At first, in my head, I was wondering why he didn't kiss me. Then he grabbed my hand and I was in total shock! I don't even remember breathing! His exact words were, "I told you not that long ago that I was going to get you a ring soon, next year. (he looked at the time on the TV) It's next year. I want to start the new year with you, I want to start the next chapter. Holly B***** will you be my wife?" I was already tearing up and I was sure to say, "YES!" It was amazing and I couldn't ask for anything more. Our friends got the whole thing on video and a few pictures. I'll always have this memory with me, the most amazing moment of my life.
