6,000 or 12,000 rose petals?

Hello,

I'm planning to order red rose petals from fiftyflowers.com for our wedding. They have two options: 6,000 or 12,000. I'm trying to decide how much I will probably need but I'm not sure and was wondering if anyone has ordered from them or any other similar places. If so, how much did you get and was it enough? Attached is a pic of our centerpiece.

We'll probably have 8-10 guest tables with the three vases of different heights. I'm also planning to have lots of petals on both sides of the ceremony aisle as well as sprinkled in the pergola where we will be standing. I'll also use the petals on the escort card table and the cake table. Pretty much wherever I can use petals, I will use it LOL. It seems to be a lot more cost effective for us than buying huge flower arrangements and it goes with our theme for the wedding. Is 6,000 enough for everything or should I get 12,000? Or maybe someone has some advice on how to calculate how much I will need approximately.

I would make a sample centerpiece before you figure out how much to buy. Purchase in bulk based on the trial run.

Thanks Stephie! The site was helpful. I guess I will go with 12,000. Better to have more than not enough I'm thinking.

Yeah, although I had no idea how big your aisle was, it was looking to be over 6,000 when I tried it.
