Desperately need advice...

So, I've been trying to get in touch with a particular Nor Cal hotel to get the ball rolling on picking a date for our wedding, planning menu, etc.

The first time I contacted them, they took at least a few days to respond, and I reviewed the package they sent, and decided to make the appointment to meet in person.  I emailed them to ask when they were available to meet with me, and it took another several days to respond back.

Then, after the appointment, everything seemed great, and they promised to email me a list of dates I could pick.  This was in October, and it is now almost Thanksgiving!

I have attempted to contact them several times, but they always have an excuse.  It's either they are not in the office or for some mysterious reason I did not receive their email that they supposedly sent.

I requested they resend the info. to several different email addresses to ensure I would receive it.  But, I have received nothing!

Am I going crazy?  Do these things really take this long?  Is the season just so busy for them that they just take a while to respond?  I don't understand.  Do they just not want to help me?  I have been stressing each day over this, and just have been hoping that their email is just buggy and I will hear from them the next day.  But, like I said, it's been almost a month now since my appointment and when they promised to get back to me!

I desperately need advice I guess.  Help anyone?

Find some place else. Have you already booked them? If they are missing in action now, they will be worse once you give them money. Its not worth the headache of running after people. If you have given them money, start calling every day... etc. They can't ignore you forever.

You could also try writing them a registered letter to ensure they receive it.

Totally agree w/the other ladies here. If they're stressing you out now, it will just get worse. Move on and find a better venue that will get back to you right away. My venue and most my vendors get back to me within 24 hours, no matter what season.

I too agree with the other ladies! If they are this MIA while your trying to hire them I can only imagine how bad they will be the day of your wedding when you really need them!. It should take no more than 2 business days to hear back from any vendor.

Run!!  Run far away!!  There are too many wonderful venues that would be thrilled to host your wedding!  Find someone who will appreciate and value your business...you will know them when you find them.

    Good luck!
