Ladies, I just wanted to wish you all a very happy Mother's Day!  Parenthood is the most important, yet underappreciated job in the world, and I wanted you to know that I appreciate and respect everything you moms have accomplished as women and as mothers.  I hope you all use today as a great reason to take a well-deserved break from wedding planning and/or taking care of everyone else to relax and celebrate how fabulous you are!

    Thank you for the heartfelt sentiment. I always remember something I heard about Jackie Kennedy Onassis. I'm paraphrasing here, but she said something like "If I do nothing else right in my life, I will raise my children well". She was a celebrity, a well known, admired & wealthy woman. Every time I see Carolyn Kennedy speaking at any public occasion, I remember that.

    It's the most important job in the world, being a Mom, and while it's hard at times, I totally LOVE it. It was always my dream growing up, because I have such a marvelous Mom. And I got my dream!

    Thank you!  I hope the other Moms on here had a great day, as well. 

    I hosted a fairly involved meal for my fiance's family - only a few short hours after getting back in the country!  Afterwards, however, he and the kids let me pick a movie and we all hung out and watched it, giving me a chance to relax.  (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, for those wondering.)

    Well thank you very much! I enjoyed a ncie relaxing day of cleaning LOL I know I know but it needed done people start arriving on wednesday!

    Thank you Daynalyn, for the beautiful sentiment for mothers day. I had a wonderful day with brunch at my sisters home and relaxing at home with my son after that.
    BTW, we have the same color pallate, the jewel tones!
