  Wedding Date 3/24/12 (Our "marriage", however, was 3/24/10, but I'll explain that later.)
  Wedding inspiration (color theme etc) I want my wedding to be red and brown. (Actually quite similar to chocolate covered strawberries, which I love. This was entirely coincidental though.) I also want a sunset beach wedding.
  How did FI propose Actually... it started as a joke. He just kept saying how much easier it would be to just "get the paperwork out of the way". We already lived together and paid each other's bills and whatnot. This went on for months. It slowly started to make sense. So, on his birthday, I brought it up. I laid out my ground rules, and we agreed to get married. My biggest rule was that we had to have a ceremony on our anniversary in a maximum of two years. He agreed on two years, so we picked out a Wednesday (so our ceremony would be on a Saturday), and we got married under a waterfall. The day before the "marriage" as we're calling it, he took me to the place we met and he got down on one knee, he'd stolen my grandmother's ring from my jewelry box, and he asked me to marry him the next day. He didn't want us to get married without him having actually proposed. It was sweet.
  Was it a surprise The actual proposal the night before... yeah. I had just gotten home from work, and he told me to keep my shoes on and get in the car.
