AW: Got my dress

Hey Girls,

I finally bought my dress!! After $ stores and countless dresses.. it's over! We bought it today and it's sitting in my house ready to be altered. The top is a little loose and need to be taken up.

Sorry the first two are sideways I could figure out how to change that.

Absolutely beautiful! You look great! It's very flattering! Love the train and the bead work. So exciting! Now you get to choose your veil and accessories. You're so ahead of the game!

Thanks! The alterations are going to take some time. They say it's normal to get it between 12 and 9 months apparently. We are trying to pass down my older sister's veil and tiara. Hopefully it matches this dress!

    Beautiful Dress! Congrats!

For alterations...I did mine a month before.. it was a lengha with a corset and tule but I'm sure a white wedding gown will need atleast 3 months

    All the best!

Thanks girls, I bought this dress on my 4th shopping trip! I hate shopping but it was the first one that I could actually picture walking down the aisle in. It takes a lot not to put it on all the time. Luckily it's a lace up not a zip up so I have to have someone else get me into the dress which means I have to admit to someone else I'm insane and want to wear my dress around the house!
I really want my older sister to bring her veil and tiara so I can see if it all goes together or if I need to get another one! It feel so much better to have it off my list and in my closet!

Wow. That's beautiful. My seamstress says she will alter my dress only 1 month before the wedding. I was shocked, but she's never let me down in the past.
I hope your tiara and veil match! I was having that problem myself. I finally got my veil and dress together in the same room. I'm keeping my dress at my sister's so I haven't been able to try it on since I bought it.
