my cleveland wedding vendor reviews (some great ones!!!)

Hello,
I got married this past August in Cleveland on the east side. I wanted to share my experiences, as I had amazing ones! (except for the invites....)

Photobooth--- Shutter Clutter I put this first because this is the only different type of vendor we had.  While this company is newer, it did not lack in professionalism, affordability, and quality.  The guests absolutely loved it (especially the prop box...).  We used the prints as our favors.  Guests also created scrapbook pages for us with a double print.  The scrapbook is absolutely hilarious! What a neat memory of the night!  At one point our DJ mentioned to us that there were more people in line for the booth than on the dance floor!

Photography---Thomas Wodzisz Photography.  Hands down one of the best decisions we made.  Thomas and his wife Gisella were amazing.  Their photography is the photojournalistic/artistic style that we wanted. They worked so incredibly hard the day of our wedding...from the morning to the night.  Always there, but never in the way.  The picture quality is phenominal. We have already framed several prints!

Flowers---Gift of Hands (west side of Cleveland).  A mother and daughter duo from Olmsted Falls. Very affordable and creative. They truly worked within my budget.  Had an excellent knowledge of flowers that looked like ones I wanted (but were more affordable).  The bouquets turned out beautiful.  They truly did an amazing job listening to me and then creating what I wanted!

DJ---I chose Selective Sound. I was impressed with them from the  moment we met them to the very end.  Jay R was our DJ. We had so many compliments the evening of the wedding. He kept the party going!  He offers a great deal of experience as he guides you through making the wedding entertainment one that you'll remember, and your guests, too.  He suggested a fun "clinking of the glass" trick.  We gave him the names of the married couples in attendance. The first time glasses were clinked we kissed, he pulled a new couple's name each time after that.  That married couple then had to "show" us newlyweds how to kiss!

Invites---I used Exclusive Invites. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WOMAN TO ANYONE!  She was incredibly hard to work with.  While I love the invites I chose, I hated trying to track her down.  She overcharged me, did not get my order right, and still, to this day, has not sent me the receipt I requested 3 times!

I did a lot of research before making any of these decisions (except the invites....who a friend referred me to...)  I'd be happy to give further input if you need it!  Good luck!

I'm thinking about using Shutter Clutter myself, but I haven't been able to find much information on them. If makes me nervous that there are very few reviews out there for them. Has anyone else hired them?
