Wedding Woes

Randoms

I cannot get my tea hot enough to make my throat feel less yucky.

I am drinking so much tea I feel like I am peeing every 30 minutes. Thankfully the sleeping kitten doesn't mind too much when I have to set her aside to get up.

A co worker wants me to work 4 hours for her tomorrow night. I don't even feel like giving her the courtesy of calling her back to say no. DH comes back late, late tonight while i am at work and we have plans to eat chili and catch up on the DVR. That and i will likely be feeling more sick after working tonight.

I  embarassed myself in my morning meeting by sneezing 12 times in a row. The entire meeting came to halt while everyone waited on me. Also, my voice is so deep and nasal-y, I sound like a tranny.

The engagement party I went too was EPIC.

The groom's mom looked just like Sisqo, blond hair and all. Thankfully, she was not wearing a thong.

The groom's brother's speech made me laugh and laugh. I later found out that he just went through a bad divorce, and man did it show.

    I'm quoting:

"Keep people out of your business, y'all all know what I'm talking about."
(head nods all around the room)

"Keep God first in your marriage, Brother, I hope this means that you will start going to church."
(That got a laugh out of me)

"Keep people out of your business." Again
(I guess in case we didn't get it the first time)

During his speech the sister would shout out comments from the back of the room.

    "Junior, I heard that."
    "Junior, say that again."

Every time she would yell out, Junior would lose his train of thought, poor thing. It was funny.

I'm looking forward to the speeches at the wedding.

I forgot my camera, but this won't happen at the wedding. The bride is very sweet, and I hope is his ready for his family.
