Ok .. so the flower pail is still not done. I can't find my paint supplies so it will take another few days. So I didn't meet my deadline. Boo.
Here are few pictures to show you how badly the ribbon fiasco went. It turned out like crap and looked like something a four year old with really bad skills did. Seriously. Judge for yourself ...
What it looked like before I touched it ....
And the crap-tastic version it resulted in. So I tore all the ribbon I hot glued on it off. Then spent 20 minutes soaking it with nail polish remover to get the hot glue off. That's why I've decided to paint it instead!
And as promised .. here's the RSVPs and my stickers to close the envelopes.
My daisy stickers ...
I love how they both turned out. Now if I could just get the invitations printed ... Sigh.
Re: Flower pail & RSVP cards PIP
Your postcards are too adorable! I love them. Where'd you get the daisy stickers?
I'm leaving the pail mostly the tin color. I'm going to paint a wide stripe of chocolate brown and then a slightly smaller light blue over the top of it. Then a white stripe over the top of the blue. I think it will look great. Then again .. anything is better than the first attempt!!
RSVP postcards and stickers came from vistaprint. For the stickers, I just used a photo of a daisy I found in the clip art of Publisher. Same for the two goldfish. I just upload both of them. Then on the postcards, I added the text boxes. The back just says "Celebrate with us" then I'll write in the guests names. They then circle "Wouldn't miss it for the world" or "Sorry, not going to be able to attend". They can drop it in the mail and it should be easy. Should being the key word there!

Please tell me you're putting postage on the envelopes! I got an invite today, no postage, pain in my you-know-what!
Love the daisy stickers, too cute!
[QUOTE]Totally putting the postage on them. No way would I leave that up to my guests to figure out. All they have to do is circle their response and drop it in the mail!! I'm trying to make this as easy as possible!!

</div><div>I'm so very jealous .. we are trying to finalize the dang invitations and find a place to get them printed this weekend. But I made a total score at Michael's yesterday in the AS IS pile. I found 100 invitations (the size we needed), plain white paper and envelopes for $4.80. Hell, even if the paper doesn't work -- the envelopes will. And the cheap ones at Walmart were $6 for 50. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /></div>
