Saginaw/tri cities Photographers?

I'm trying to plan my wedding in Michigan out of state and I was wondering who was in the area that does a good job and is affordable??

    What do you define as "affordable"?  My definition may vary greatly from yours.  There is a link futher back on the board where we list our vendors:

    I would highly recommend my photographer, Amy Boeve (amyboevephotography.com).  She is so nice and I love her photos.  She is based out of Grand Rapids but travels anywhere in MIchigan without a fee.  Good luck!

    Enjoy the View did a beautiful job with FSIL's wedding.  I also recommend Mandy Johnston out of Saginaw and Triptych Photography.

    I am using Amy Boeve too!!! We have yet to get e-photos soon with her, but she has been super nice and I love her work :)

    We are using Titus Photography out of Midland. They take a TON of great pictures and you get a cd full of them and all copy rights are yours. I would also check out Karen Fordos out of Saginaw. She is very corky but takes very fun/great pictures.

    Many photographers in Michigan travel state-wide at no additional cost, so you don't have to confine yourself to a local photographer.  I allocated a large % of our budget to photography because it was SO important to me!  It's the one thing you're going to have after the wedding day is over (besides your DH, of course Wink).  So I don't know if you'll find these people sufficiently "affordable," but they do amazing work!

    I am using Portraits by Toni Wardin. She charges $850 for the cermony and reception. She doesn't give a limit on her hours. She told me she will be there from the time I get to the ceremony site to about 10, 10:30 p.m. at the reception. She will also give you the copyrights to all the photos she takes so you can reproduce them wherever you want and however many you want. She also has a great personality and seems like she will be fun to work with! She is located in Freeland, but is willing to travel.

    I am a bit late to the post but I am also using Kendra from Titus Photography. Their packages are very affordable and they have gotten great recomendations from my cousin and a relative of hers!
