I FLAME cancer again!! Just had to admit my grandma to the hospital and it looks like she wont be coming home from there. That sucks!
Flame my sisters car for breaking down on me, and the mechanics for not having time to fix it.
I flame this stupid stupid day!!!

I flame..... NOTHING!!!! I just got some awesome reports that show my office's growth over the past year (we took over a difficult property and it's been rough, but now we are the top performing property in the portfolio)!!!!!! It just feels amazing to see the growth on spreadsheets and that the big bosses notice our hard work! Okay, let me stop being overly work-loving! lol

Also... it is flurrying... in NC... which means my boss already told me to close early and said I could come in early tomorrow!!!!! HAHA I love "snow days" in the south! We are supposed to get up to a 1/2 inch.

I flame SNOW... we are supposed to only get 3-4 inches, which isnt that bad around here. BUTTTT- it is coming at rush hour this afternoon/evening and is the news is predicting major issues for the commute home. I may have to ask to leave early because I am a nervous wreck driving haha!

Siriko- I am so sorry to hear about your grandma. Sending positive energy your way!!!

I flame this cold. It's the first weekend my FI doesn't have to work in a month and he is coming up to visit. Now I'm scared to let him near me in case he gets sick too so boo. Also, our friend from CA is visiting. I haven't seen him in a year and we were supposed to go out and have a fun night on the town. We'll probably downgrade to just dinner. I hate it when people who are coughing intermingle with healthy people and I don't want to be "that person".

I flame my room block situatuon! Apparently there are 4 conventions and 2 major city events going on that weekend and all hotels are booked. The ones that aren't booked require a two night minimum and are up towards$200 a night. I don't want my out of town guests to pay that much, plus we booked the after-party around these hotels so we could all walk to it. waiting on 2 more hotels to respond...mind you i've talked to like 20. Hoping something turns around soon.

I'd like to flame selfish conversation monopolizers around me (read: another bride near me) that refuses to allow anyone to ask me about my wedding and my life without steamrolling the conversation and making it about her and her wedding. Very frustrating.

Thanx girls

It's been a shitty day, having to call my family to inform them didnt help, got my parents on the first plane out of Trinidad so they can come say goodbye, that was not a fun phonecall to make. Anyway I know she is in good hand at the hospital, and maybe they can move her to a hospice if she get a bit better.
It's always nice to come in here though

<div>We're the week before you. We had to block our rooms one year exactly in advance because Boston can be so crazy that time of the year. I feel your pain on that one. Our cheapest hotel was $160 a night but I checked online and without the discount it goes up to $400 a night. We did not block rooms for every guest because we are financially responsible for filling the rooms by a certain date. I just hope those that need one book early enough that they get one and don't have to find another room at a much higher rate.</div>

I flame FI this week. I understand having personal issues that need to be worked out, but sir you are engaged and therefore should be willing to be open about the situation. I flame the instructor that quit after the first day of class because now everyone's schedule has to be adjusted to accommodate those students I also flame the venue for closing and forcing me back into the rate race of searching for a venue sans the deposit paid to the other venue.

Nc is only really good for freezing rain and ice... Almost never pretty snow ... I am in Cary and thankfully this ice / sleet storm is no where near as bad as one we had several years ago and EVERYONE had no power for days and days in 19 degree weather.
