I'm looking for a venue around $1500. It's preferrable that they allow me to bring my own food and alcohol. I'm not too picky about what it looks like. I'm inviting about 130 guests so I need to be able to accomodate everyone. I'm looking for a place that allows me to have the ceremony and reception at the same location. The closer to the Kenneaw/Acworth area the better, that's where me and my fiance live and I'd like my out of town guests to be able to stay close by. But I'll look into other parts of GA if the venue price is good.

    There is a $500 security deposit.... $900 rental fee.... you get the $500 back so long as there are no damgages.... so in reality, you'll be under budget for that!!! They only provide the space, chairs, and tables. You will have a beautiful view of the Chattahoochee River (get married on the deck!). Bring in any vendor that you like. I don't think it's too far from the Acworth/Kennesaw area.

    $650 for the whole weedend, Sunset Ranch Villa Rica. It is about 45 mins form Kennesaw/Acworth area. It is one of the best priced venues I have seen. It holds 150 I think is what they said maybe more.

    You should check out The Tisinger House. They have a beautiful 300 acre farm with pecan orchards, a 3 acre lake and a beautiful victorian 5,000 sq ft home. www.thetisingerhouse.com
