    yes we are :)  I was just on the June boards and thought to myself I never would have met you fabulous ladies if we decided to get married the last weekend of June.  We decided against that since it is my cousins 30th bday.

    Same!  We were going to get married in June, as well, but my cousin picked the end of June first... and I didn't want to burden our families with 2 weddings so close together.

    So glad we picked July!  (At least now we are... when it's thunderstorming the day of our wedding... that'll be another story)

    on the news today they said that it is going to be a hot and dry summer so they are concerned for wild fires.  I will take heat over rain anyday for the wedding!!

    My parents were worried about us planning a wedding in 8.5 months. fiance's parents were like "you guys probably only need 30 days to plan a wedding!" (they aren't exactly traditional). We compromised and picked our absolute favorite time of year that would be perfect for us. Obviously it was July. So glad we picked it so I could meet all of you!!! I lurk on other month boards and this one is the best (seriously, despite my bias, it's by far the best).

    One of the wedding-related groups that I follow on pinterest has a whole board of wedding day rain shots. They are all absolutely stunning. So if it rains, I just plan to make lemonade out of lemons and get some great pictures. (not sure why I am in such a good mood today hahahaha). I should try to find it.....

    My FI and I wanted the first or second week in June. But, all the venues I really liked were already booked. So, we took the LAST weekend night in May, June, July, or August our venue had available, which just so happens to be Friday the 13th.

    It poured on my shower day, so I hope it will be really nice on the wedding day. But, butterfly, I wouldn't mind seeing those rainy day pics, JIC.

    Yeah, I wanna see this too! Quito's weather is ridiculous IMO. July falls under the dry season but it still easily rains 2 to 4 times a week. Fortunately it's only for like 30 minutes or an hour max..but still, I hate rain! Anyway since it rains so often here, the rain on your wedding day superstition doesn't exist here haha. I thought that was funny. I don't care about the superstition but I do despise getting wet! I'm almost mentally preparing myself for a quick shower in the afternoon :

    Butterfly I have posted rain pictures as well just in case.. You never know and nothing will ruin my mood that day so its ok :)

    My coworkers and I were talking about how it didnt snow this year in Philly and someone said what if it snows on your wedding day!  I said I wouldnt even be mad because that would just be awesome :) hahah
