I need your flower knowledge

The majority of my wedding flowers will be fake to save on costs.  I really want my bouquet to be real so I can smell beautiful flowers and have a nice memory when I smell those flowers again.  When I was first planning my wedding, I was reading up on flowers and found an article that listed which flowers tend to have strong foul odors.  The article explained that many people planning their own weddings choose these flowers because they're beautiful, but don't take into consideration how strongly/stinky they smell.  I can't find that article anywhere.

Does anyone know which types of flowers tend to smell not-so-great?  I don't want a stinky smell memory for my wedding day!

(my colors are purple/black/white so I'm thinking about having a bouquet with different hues of purple, maybe some white, maybe some yellow for pop)

    I'm not sure of the exact article you are talking about. But The Knot has an ultimate flower guide. It goes over the most popular wedding flowers and breaks it down by color, price, season and smell/scent.

    There is one flower that you should stay away from and that is Casablanca Lillies, they large and beautiful, but they have a very strong scent and when I work with them, I sneeze constantly.  The other not as strong are hyacinths, a spring flower. I've been a floral designer for 40 years.  Bunches Bob
