Hair Extensions for Wedding Day?

Is anyone else having clip-in hair extensions in their hair for the wedding? I have a hair appt. with my stylist tomorrow and after the appt we are going to pick out some clip in extensions to add just a little length, but moslty for volume. I want them to look natural and where people are like her hair looks awesome rather than omg she has extensions. I have really thin hair and once my hair is curled it looks so short. I'm doing a half-up style for the wedding.

    I am definitely getting a hair piece for the wedding. I'm having mine all up, but my hair is very thin too, so it won't look very full. My hair stylist wears hair clips every time she wears her hair up and I've never noticed before, so I trust her. We're going to Sally's together before my appointment to find one.

    Probably not because my hair is really long and fairly thick to begin with.

    My MOH had extensions for her wedding and you couldn't even tell they were fake... her hair looked awesome.  She has really thin, baby-fine hair.

    I will not be using one but right now I have a ton of hair.. I have been growing my hair out since I got engaged and it is the longest it has ever been!

    But I did use hair extensions for my promway back when and it looked fine.. people had no idea and I am a natural redhead so VERY hard to match color wise :)

    I have a lot of hair, but what I have is realllly thin. I am seriously considering this just to add some volume into my hair. I am going to talk to my stylist about it at my trial for sure.

    One of my good friends got extensions for her wedding - she is getting married in June and keeps wearing the extensions when we go out just because they look so good. Her extensions are the same length as her hair (some of them are even shorter) but they just make her hair look SO full, it's beautiful. Lvissers, she is doing her hair half-up too, and it looks fabulous with the extensions.

    You guys saw my photo of my hair trial. I have extremely fine hair, but I have a TON of the fine hair, and my stylist was able to fluff it up so I looked like I had a lot of it. She may bring some clip-ins for the wedding, just to ensure that it doesn't fall during the day. But that's a big "maybe" because I really liked how it looked when she did the trial. I'm more concerned with the fact that it's all up and I don't want it to start to fall out while we're dancing. With some extra volume, it'll surely stay in. I think.

    I definitely am. My hair is super thin as well and it hardly holds a curl so I'm relying on extensions for volume and longevity.

    butterfly: I have very similar hair to you. My hair is so thin but I have soo much of it.

    After my trial, we determined that I will have extensions to add volume. It is going to be completely up. I already have hair extensions that I've never even worn before so I'll be using those.

    I might. I hadn't thought about it until this thread but now I'm considering it. I have really long hair and it's medium thickness but I want super full, big, pornstar bride hair. Yeah I said pornstar bride.

    Yes, I am putting in clip ins. I"m also doing a half up and half down style. Sally's can be expensive, you might want to look into stores online. I'm sure you will have a better selection. I've noticed the clip ins for African American women are less expensive but Jessica Simpson has a hair line that looked good for various hair types.

    There are also videos on YouTube on how to put them in.

    Make sure your stylist gets the right kind of extensions. I have clip ins and they are very similar to the texture of my hair. I have very fine/thin hair. I think if someone else had matched me for them I would've been sold thick/coarse extensions. If the hair doesn't feel similar to yours DO NOT BUY IT. People don't know that my clip ins are fake. I get compliments on how long my hair has grown lol. Just make sure you don't buy any extensions that don't match you hair.
