Any brides having wedding and reception at The Gatehouse? Looking for some feedback and advise

Have any of you had your wedding and reception at The Gatehouse? I would like a stress free, low cost outside place for wedding and inside reception that is elegant:) I don't want to go through a bunch of vendors for everything. I want to go to one place and have them handle it all. Louisiana Castle does just that and is perfect...... but far away and I wanted something closer to Baton Rouge.  Any advise?

The coordinator (also the owner) handles EVERYTHING and from what I can tell, most brides have a very stress-free night! The only thing to think about is that is can get very crowded in the banquet room because in my opinion, it's pretty small. Have you been there yet to tour? I have pictures I can show you if you want to see what it's like "in action." Just let me know.</div>

    I am also considering the Gatehouse for my wedding in the near future! I'd like the wedding outside and reception inside!! I haven't scheduled a tour yet, but plan to do so by the end of this month!! I'd love to c see photos, if u wouldn't mind sending me some as well!     I didn't tour The Gatehouse yet but I will soon. I never been there but I've seen pictures. I love Louisiana Castle:( it's so far though!

    Under "Albums" I have Rachel and Dianta's wedding, and theirs was at the gatehouse. You can get a feel for it there.

I'm getting married on March 23 and would have used them myself, but my fiance' wanted his own food choices so we had to go with a place that allowed outside food/custom catering.

    Christi at the Gatehouse (the owner) is AMAZING and will make your wedding beautiful. If you book a tour, tell her Jennifer Aguillard sent you! :)
