Soo Indecisive...

Hi Ladies,

So I have continued to play with invitation ideas and have come up with something else that I really like and now I'm completely torn. I've added a new page to my BIO for a poll on the invites. Can you please let me know which one you like best?

I haven't done a mock-up, these are just digital files - and I would do the exact opposite with the mats/pocketfold: silver mat with tiffany pocketfold. Also, on the new invitation, there is a silver band that goes across with an image of a rhinestone buckle - this would be silver, satin ribbon with an actual buckle, not a printed one...lol.

As always, thanks for the help!
Kate

***disregard the poll on this page, i created it and can't figure out how to delete it***

I voted for the old ones. I thought they actually looking more elegant.  The new ones looked too busy for me....although I did like the buckle.  However, I'd be concerned about the buckle being too bulky to mail.  Could the post office machines have problems with that?  I don't know.

Thanks for the input. Good point about the buckle on the invites.

Why not put the buckle AROUND the pocketfold? It won't close correctly if it is inside the pocketfold.

I used a glue runner and glued a navy ribbon around my champagne pocketfolds with the rhinestone buckle near the pocketfold closure- so it looks like a bellyband, but it is not.

The buckle increases the price of the mailing- I think it will be 76 cents, but I need to check again with USPS before I actually send them out.

Oh they are both super cute....but I would go with the original ones.  I think they are more classic and elegant looking.  The buckle is super cute though.

I gotta go with the old ones, I think with the new invites there's too much going on it's hard to just read it and not get distracted

Like PP have mentioned, I'd be worried about the buckle being a problem in the mail.  I read somewhere a few weeks ago about one bride's invitation envelopes having holes in them when they arrived because of the crystals she had on the paper.

Otherwise I think I like the new ones a little better - but I have silver/gray on my invitations too, so I am a little biased :)  Maybe without the buckle?

    I'm not sure I'm helping!!!

I voted for the old ones, too.  Much more elegant. :-)

Yup, old one's for me, too!  Like PP's said, they are more elegant, and less busy.  Good luck!
