Suggestions for Reno/Tahoe Wedding Venues

Hi everyone stressing out about a wedding venue, been to one bridal show so far and researching online. I'm looking for a wedding venue that is outside where I can do both ceremony and reception, and hopefully keep it under 1500.00 for the venue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.     Hi Brittani,
    We have our venue booked at Canyon Gate Country Club (Sahara/ Durango).  It's off the strip, about 15 minutes heading west...the closest casino is Red Rock.  We are having our ceremony and reception there, but the ceremony & reception fee is $2,000...a little bit over your budget.  You should check it out!  It's gorgeous.  Shelley Sampson the Event Director is amazing!!  Good luck! Smile

    You might be better off asking on the California-Tahoe local board.

    This board tends to be more destination weddings in Vegas, not a lot of northern Nevada

    I grew up in Reno.  Off the top of my head, try Red Hawk golf course or Rancho San Rafael (but may be expensive). 

    One of my BMs had hers at Red Hawk in July.  I know they were on a budget, so there's a chance it's in your price range.  The ceremony was by a pond with little waterfalls, and the reception was right there under some kind of awning or something.  It was lovely.
