Hi, all.  We're getting married October 8 in Minneapolis, and our DJ just fell through.  Does anyone have any DJ recommendations that are affordable?  We were hoping to spend $500 or so, which I know is on the low end.  Neon Express, which I had heard good things about, is booked for that date.

    We're going with Midwest Sound & got them for $495 for dinner music & dance.  = )

    we went with midwest sound! ours was 595 due to the popularity of our date (09-10-11) but still a great deal...nothing but good things to say about them. i have been to 3 weddings this summer that they played at and they are awesome!

    Midwest Sound.....just make sure they are clear on what you want played. They did an awesome job of entertainging but played alot of music we did not have on our list :( We were sent a backup DJ because our original had an emergency that day and couldnt make it. That could be why but it was a little frustrating when he had our list there and lcearly these songs were not highlighted.

    Thanks, ladies!  I've been in contact with Midwest Sound, and they're quoting me at a minimum of $695 for the evening.  I also contacted Musical Moments, and their quote seems a little bit closer to our price range.  Thank you for all of your help and suggestions; I so appreciate it!

    We used Nightlife Entertainment and they were awesome!! They were also right about your price range. Had people on the dance floor the whole night. Our DJ's name was Matt.
