Definitely a newbie here to this board, and I could NOT be more excited to see how many student brides we have on here! :) So glad to know there's many girls to go to when the going get's tough between everything! Anyways, short intro, I am Katie, almost 21, and a Senior in college (almost done, yay!)!

I was also ecstatic to read how many of you gals were planning long engagements! (took a load off my shoulders!)

Anywho, enough babbling, so glad to be on here with you girls!

    Welcome!! What are you majoring in?  When did you get engaged? What does FI do?  When's the big day?  -- Sorry for all the ?'s, I'm nosy!

    Thank you! Exercise Science is my major; We got engaged on May 20th this year; FI is working two jobs right now providing entertainment for a minor leage baseball team where I live and is a producer at a local radio station (still trying to get back in college to finish...trouble with loans! :( )....

    No date set yet - we have a "guesstimate" of May 19th, 2012. But that will more than likely change. :)

    I was also soo happy when i realized so many people were having long engagements. I got engaged April 27th of this year and our date is October 20th, 2012. I am a junior in college and i am soo excited. I love the student board. I feel like we can all relate.

    I'm an exercise science major as well! I don't know many other girls in this field (I'm in classes with 8 guys and...me.) so that's exciting!

     We have a long engagement too. We also don't have wedding date. My major is Paralegal studies.
