This is my favorite time of year: the beginning of October until I have to go back to work after Christmas.

I love the cooler weather, and being able to enjoy the beautiful outdoors God has created for us. This time of year we have the weather people move to Arizona for. I love fall food. I love the harvest sentimentality. I love Thanksgiving. I love Advent. I love Christmas. I love the happy feelings and sense of community that develops during this time of year. I love that the grocery store is starting to fill with baking supplies and turkey fixin's.

My first year away from home at college, I had a copy of Martha Stewart Living with a big turkey on the front. My bff (who is enduring my fall frenzy this afternoon) can attest that I waxed poetic about that bird for weeks.

What about you guys? Do you love fall as much as I do? Do you have another favorite season? What do you love about it?

     I love summer! (well, i love days like today where it's in the 70s and clear and sunny...but I would call this abnormal october weather!) FI loves fall. I hate the usual weather of cold and rainy. ugh.

    I like fall, but I would have to say summer is my favorite season.

    I do like the cool evenings and warmer days. I love pumpkin anything. I love watching football in my sweats with H and having a blanket on the bed. It is also the time that I start to bake a lot. My birthday is on Thanksgiving this year, so that will be fun.

    I love the crispness in the air, and the sense of anticipation that a new school year brings. Even though I'm not in school anymore, I still work at a university so I still kind of get into the spirit. I love apple pie. And football!

    LOVE Fall.  The weather is great, nature paints a beautiful picture, plenty of excuses for hot drinks and snuggly blankets.  Summers in Texas are just unbearable.  I'm so glad we picked a fall wedding.

    I love the fall too!  There's something about the changes, it's like you can feel them in the air, and they're good changes.  I like the colder weather, and I love all of the pumpkin flavored things that start popping up!

    Fall is definitely my favorite :)  Cooler weather, leaves changing, apples and cider, time to break out the blankets and hot chocolate and soup, football... love everything about it!

    I love fall. Summer has always been my favorite, but fall is a close second!  I can't wait for the holidays!

    Summer is my favorite, But I really like fall too.  Here in Montana a lot of times we don't even get fall, it just kind of skips over to winter.  But I LOVE getting the hot chocolate out ;o) and all the beautiful colors fall brings.

    I adore fall. Winter is just too tiresome...I hate the cold and the weather makes it challenging to get to work due to where we live. The best thing about the winter is that it makes me grateful for the spring! And summer in Missouri, especially this year, can be absolutely miserable if we get a long stretch of hot and humid days. You just don't feel like moving during those times. Spring would be my second choice, though lately we seem to jump straight from winter into summer.

    But fall...fall is just like drifting off to a really nice sleep. It's that drowsy time of year when everything looks glorious and people shake off their torpor after the hot summer.

    It even smells good.

    I love the very beginnning of Spring.  I love seeing the first sprouts of tulip leaves from piles of dead autumn leaves.
