Smoky Eyes

I am having my cousin do my makeup and I am curious if a smoky eye would look good for wedding day makeup.  With a more natural lip color.

    Nice.  I plan on using maybe more to the dark browns and greys compared to a black.  So more of a softer smoky eye.  Also I have brown eyes and heard that purples tend to make them pop...so would using a dark lavendar look good or weird?

    I'm thinking about doing this (<---clicky) which is the grey and brown together.  I also have brown eyes and have been throwing around the idea of purples, but I am afraid it will end up looking like my eyes are bruised.  This (<---clicky) is the only one I've seen that I like so far.

    Have your cousin try it out on you before the wedding to see how you like it. That's what I did and I ended up deciding to tone it down a bit for the wedding.

    That's what I did and I loved it. My MUA used grays and silvers and made it not overly dramatic or dark. This is the best pic of my eyes I could find:




    I would definitely, definitely do a make-up trial though. The first time we did it, she tried browns and I absolutely hated it!

    the first one is almost the same way I do my make-up daily. I am thinking of toning down my makeup for the wedding, I have big almond shaped blue eyes and was thinking of going with greys for the wedding.
