Invitations

Where did you order yours from? I am having the worst time finding something i like so help me find more places to look please...

Re: Invitations

  • I ordered through my DJ. He gave a huge discount for using more than one of his services. He had a ton of books and I really liked that I got to see and feel a copy of the actual invitation and see the colors in person to know exactly what I was ordering. I have also seen books at places like the hallmark store and some little keepsake shops. I didn't do much looking online so I can't help you there.

    Good luck!

  • I ordered pockets from cards and pockets then had a local print shop design and print the invites and inserts. I also couldn't find any that I liked online.
  • Vistaprint- we're on a tight budget and the designs were cute and very affordable. We just got them today, actually!

  • I ordered from Reaves Engraving. They had by far the best prices of anywhere I looked. I got 100 2-color letterpress invites, RSVP's and calligraphed envelopes for under $500. They were fabulous to work with, and the quality is excellent.  http://reavesengraving.com/
  • I used a groupon and ordered through Vistaprint.  Paid $15 for the Groupon for $60 worth of merchandise which equaled to 50 invitations/reply cards/envelopes and had to pay an extra $10 overage.  Pretty good deal I'd say for a smaller wedding.

I used David's Bridal online. They had the design that we loved and the quality is awesome. I am very happy with how they turned out.

  • Vistaprint! I also used a groupon--mine was $17 for $70 worth of stuff. Made out like a bandit with that since the site had reduced a bunch of prices on things that day.
  • We used magnetstreet.com. We wanted something nice, but didn't want to spend for than $4 per invite for something people just toss after the wedding. Their invites are 100% customizable and REALLY nice quality. We were able to get the invites, 2 enclosure cards, petal holders, belly bands, RSVPS, envelope seals, and both envelope sets for under $3.75 per invite!

    this.
  • I bought tempaltes from Etsy and created them in Photoshop, it really was pretty easy.  Time consuming but manageable. I just sent the files to a local print shop and am hoping they turn out well.
