Thursday - who's looking forward to the weekend?

This girl!  I"m hoping the expected rain will hold off on Saturday, I"m really looking forward to going to a baseball game with FI and our parents.  If the game is rained out, maybe we can just all head down and hang out at the billiards/gastropub place where we're planning on having our rehearsal dinner.

FI will be at work after-hours finalizing our invitation design, so i"m home alone tonight.  Maybe I'll get around to setting up our wedding website.

What's up with everyone else?

    So excited for the weekend! We have lots of fun things planned. Dinner and BIL's play friday night, Dinner and a movie with some friends sat night and a BBQ competition with lots of yummy food on Sunday! I can't wait!

    Fi and I are going to a concert tomorrow night (Ingrid Michaelson)
    I'm only off on Sunday this week, because I'm switching my day off (usually Mon) to next Saturday to go to Boston next weekend. :)

    I'm hoping to get some little wedding things done this weekend. Finalizing guest lists, decorating the birdcage for cards, that sort of stuff.

    Sounds like you ladies will have fun!

    Today was my first day of work with my new district -- they've hired a TON of first-year teachers and it's so exciting to see so many fresh, energetic faces.  It's crazy, though, some of them graduated from high school the year after I graduated from college -- when did the kids born in the 90's get old enough to be real adults?

    And I'm SO excited for the weekend!  I'm flying out to Mississippi tomorrow and my parents are loaning me their car so I can drive down to where H is training and spend the weekend with him.  :D

    Sounds like lots of great things going on!

    Prof - that's great that you get to see your H this weekend!  I hope things continue to go well with your new job.

    Christina - soooo jealous that you get to see Ingrid Michaelson!  I love her!  It's so rare that anyone good comes to Fargo, the closest that good concerts ever get usually is the Twin Cities.  Luckily, that's only about 3 hours away, and I have sisters in the area that I can stay with, so it's at least doable.

    Three hours for concerts?! I complain when I have to drive into DC, and that's not even an hour. Granted, I live like 3 miles from a big concert pavilion. Guess I'm just spoiled. Tonight was our rehearsal. Everything went well. I'm getting ready for bed now...big day tomorrow! I'm super nervous now, so I'm just hoping I can calm down enough to get a little sleep

I know I said it in the weekend wedding thread, but I hope you (and Resa) have a super wonderful beautiful day (and that your married life is just as blessed).

    AFM -- Nothing exciting this weekend. H has to work. My dad is coming over to visit the baby (he's in love -- C is his first grandchild). Otherwise, we might try to get to the mall to hang out in the cold/get out of the house.
