marriage license?

I am getting married on July 17. Should I be getting my marriage license now, or waiti until July? Iff anyone could help me with that, it would be much appreciated.

    You can get it now, it just has to be used before thirty days passes after you get it.  Hope this helps, and here is the link to the web page with the information:

    Are you getting married in MO or KS, because they do things differently in each state.

    I am getting married in MO, on the plaza.     You need to wait until 30 days before the event. I got marired on the Missouri side in Jackson County and it's a 30 day requirment but once you hit that mark you are good anytime you want to get it.
