I just wanted to let you know that we applied for our license yesterday and left with it on the spot. We are in Hennepin County but how it worked for us was I made an appointment at the Brookdale site through their website and showed up with the paperwork filled out. They took our money and gave us a packet for the wedding where we will sign it and have the judge and witnesses fill it out and we are done. The 5 day thing just means that you cannot fill it out for 5 days after receiving it, you don't have to wait for something in the mail or anything like that.
So we went in on the 6th and were told we can't fill it out until the 11th. Just thought I would let you know even though it looks like we might be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
