Flipping out!!!

FLIPPING OUT!!! So, our tiny little wedding of only 65 people invited….4 of the couples never received our invitation in the mail, and it was NEVER RETURNED TO ME!! We have gotten rsvp’s for 32 people of the 65, so I know some made it to the correct destination, but I am flipping out!!!!  Now I have to resend invites to people only 30 days before the wedding, which is on October 6….Ahhhhh!

    Sorry you're flipping out! If it helps you feel better about the post office, I work with a lot of a particular kind of mail that's basically a piece of paper folded in two--the sides often aren't sealed. I couldn't tell you how many small-sized invitations have slipped inside one of those. It might not be a case of lazy mail carriers :-P.

    At any rate, it sucks that some invites got lost, but at least you can call and reassure people that they're invited, resend the pretty card, and have things taken care of a month in advance! I am sure it will work out okay.

    I'd call them instead. Just explain what happened. They should undertand. You still have time if you send it asap! :)

    From reading back what I wrote earlier, I realize now how silly I sound lol….I did resend the invites and texted all of them (Luckily they are friends and most knew they were invited)…So I am sure things will be fine, thanks for the reassurance ladies!

    One of my bridesmaids didn't get her invite.  Luckily, she knows she's invited!
