Do you think there is such a thing as too much foreplay?

I think it depends on moods. Sometimes you want more and sometimes you don't. Overall, I do think that there is such a thing as too much though. That comes down to the communication with you and your partner.

Like julbgordo said: it depends on the mood. If FI goes on one of his out of town trips, when he gets back I'm not in the mood for a bunch of foreplay.

I think there can be. I love it as much as the next person, but sometimes if it goes on for too long, I'll get too sensitive and it won't be as comfortable for the real deal once it comes around.

I also think it depends on moods. I know that sometimes I just want to get it over with, other times I don't.

Oh yes. There can be too much of anything TBH. I was with a guy in college that seriously would not be happy unless I hit the big O at least 3 times (no joke). It got to the point where I would just fake at least two (if not all three) of them just so he'd be happy. Yeahhh that was a healthy relationship.........

I agree with others that there can be too much foreplay since things get sensitive. I generally don't like to orgasm from foreplay because then I have to get all worked up again before the "real deal."

Wow! I can only do one per day, and even then I need to be in the right mood for it to not take 40 minutes. I can't imagine three within the same interaction!

To answer the question, yes, there can be too much.

Yes I think there can be too much. I don't usually orgasm during actual sex, and FI always wants me to have one before we start actually doing it, but sometimes its just too much pressure. The more I think about it if it isn't happening, the less likely it is to happen! Let's just get to the main event!

Agreed. Also, if it goes on too long sometimes I can't orgasm and get frustrated. I agree though with many of you that it depends on my mood and more importantly, communication is key.
