Need dress help

I am helping a friend plan her wedding for this summer. Right now we are focusing on her dress. She wants an inexpensive dress!! Online we have checked out Davids Bridal and JCPenneys. Found a couple on Davids site that is worth traveling to check out..but can you tell me anymore sites that offer low cost dresses?? This is her 2nd wedding and she knows what she wants!! (empire waist, long, strapless and flowing in front (as opposed to a more form fitting one)

I got my dress at Filene's Running of the Brides sale -- it was so much fun and not nearly as scary as it seems on TV! All the dresses there are either $250, $500, or $700, so even the super-designer ones are pretty reasonable. I don't know when your friend's wedding is, but there's one in Chicago on July 23... There's no way to know what dresses are going to be there so it could be a gamble, but if she hasn’t found anything she loves by then it’s a LOT of fun!

She might also try consignment stores. Some of them have surprisingly good collections.
