Restaurant Reception

Does anyone know of any nice restaurants in the Houston area to host a reception.  I have looked at Brennan's of Houston, Sambuca, the Grove, and Ouisie Table.  If you have any other suggestions or comments on the places I have listed I would really appreciate it.

    In addition to what's been mentioned..maybe Masraff's and Trevisio?

    What sort of "feel" are you going for? That might help narrow your choices.

    This is exactly what I was thinking! I was recently at Vincents & as soon as I walked in I instantlly thought it would make such a lovely wedding location.

    Also Pasta Lomontes is wonderful - they've got nice linens & they even put small flower arrangements on the tables. We had our RD here & it was WONDERFUL. We had about 70 people, full meal (appitizers, beer, wine, multiple entree choices, and dessert) & was only about 3K. They also have a lovely patio space if you have a smaller party (I think up to 45 people in this area).

    Arista in downtown. A friend of mine is having her reception there early next year and it looks really beautiful. It's owned by Cordua Restaurants. Here's the link:

    It has floor to ceiling windows and an AMAZING balcony. If I were going the restaurant route, I would definitely look into this place.
