Having a Friend Perform Your Ceremony?

We would like a good friend of ours to perform our ceremony and we're just beginning to research the legal way to do this. Do you know of any reputable websites where you can become ordained? What was the cost? I'm thinking that after the public speaking part all they have to do is sign the license and submit it to the county, am I wrong?

    being ordained throught the Universal Life Church is how I was ordained. I performed a marriage last month and submitted the liscence with my credentials and signiture and they got their marriage certificate in the mail. So that was fine. :)
