NWR: New apartment/excited thread

This is completely not wedding related and is not even a question...it's mostly me expressing my happiness at this evening and my and FH's new apartment :) A few weeks back I planted thyme, oregano and garlic chives for the first time, and I used them in the sauce for tonight's spaghetti. It turned out AMAZING. I usually put extra garlic seasoning on my spaghetti but I didn't need to tonight (I also put some fresh chopped garlic in).

We moved into our apartment on Saturday and tonight it's finally starting to look like an apartment- most of the kitchen items are put away (including the gifts from my shower Saturday), and the furniture is arranged. Most of what is left is finding places for the random little stuff and decorating.

What are you excited for tonight?

    Congrats! Nothing exciting for me. Hopefully that changes next week when we finally finish lay tile. It's been the longest drawn out project.

    I'm excited my MOH is home from Ohio for the weekend and I get to see her and catch up!  Didn't expect to see her until the day before the wedding :)

    Congrats!  I'm excited that my shower is only 9 days away and on the 1st FI and I move into our own apartment too! :D we've been living with my parents during our engagement so we could pay for the wedding and now we're hyped because we FINALLY will have our own place :D

    Karoljo, good luck with moving! I know how exciting that is because my FH and I were both living with my parents too. We needed a place to stay after we moved back to Mil-town after college until we found jobs, etc. I love my parents but couldn't wait to move out, and it's awesome.

    M Tulli, good luck with finishing the tile....it doesn't sound fun at all!
    And punky, how nice! I'm sure you'll have a great weekend catching up!

    Congrats on the new apartment! It is always fun to get settled on and make a place home. I'm excited to go to the Madison, WI farmers market tomorrow morning. It is one of the biggest in the state, and I love going every summer.

    Libby, jealous that you're going to the Madison farmer's market! My brother and his girlfriend go to Madison so they frequent the market, but I haven't been there yet and love their stories. Have fun!!
