Wedding in Des Moines!!! but planning on the East Coast

Any help Ladies would be awesome! I have only been to Des Moines a 2 times and for a week only so i do not know the place at all!
1) We looked at the botanical center and the capitol for possible pictures, is this a good idea or even a feasible idea? lol Does anyone know the rules or fees for either of these places?
2)  Caterers? any ideas we are on a budget so any caterers that weren"t too pricey but did very well?
3)local attractions to tell out of guests about?
4)a good spa and hair place?

First off Welcome to the board!! This is a great group of ladies, and Congrats on the Engagement!

    To answer your questions,

    1. Yes Capitol is a great place for pictures some steps and whatnot there. Botanical Center is good too, however it does cost to get in for each person. I can't remember how much though.

    2. What type of food are you wanting to get?! That will help to give you suggestions!!

    3. Adventure Land, The casino, Jordan Creek Mall. Those are the big ones I can think of now!

    4. There are a lot, Does your Fi's Mom live her? Maybe she can tell you where she gets her done?
