When did you know you were in love with your fiance?

I know that it's a little million little things that makes us love our husbands-to-be, but was there a moment in time where you just realized "Wow, I love him" or "I think he's the one"?  After our first date, it was pretty obvious that we weren't dating anyone else, and we kind of swung into a relationship fairly quickly. We had been dating for a few months and he was staying at my apartment for the weekend for a big halloween party my friends and I were throwing. We just had left a thrift store where he bought a bunch of items for his cowboy costume (I was an indian lol). He was modeling the costume for me and he had a little boy's toy gun that he kept shooting at me. He was just being silly with this stupiud gun, but that's when it hit me. I knew I loved him. Anyone else want to share their stories?! I'm a big sap and love hearing stories like this!!

Aaaahhhhhh, this is my favorite post yet! Great stories! : )

I had a few "this is how I know" moments. The first year of our relationship was a little up-and-down, and I wasn't sure if I was really all in. At the time we were part of a small honors group at the college we were attending, and we had put together a Habitat for Humanity trip for a group of students. Although things were strained between us, we went on the trip and were determined to have a good time. Spending that week with him was the best thing we could have ever done for our relationship! It was truly a test of whether we could work together and support each other, and we passed with flying colors! It was clear to me by the end of the week that I had someone really wonderful in front of me and that I had better hang on to him!

Now that we've been together for almost four years, I have mini "he's the one!" moments every now and again. Usually they come along when we manage to have a great time together doing the dumbest things - talking in funny voices, doing puzzles, procrastinating, etc. Knowing that I could be locked in a padded cell with this man and still have a blast - that's powerful stuff and I just love it.
