Can I just brag about how awesome my fiance is for a minute?

Also, when I got home from Chicago and was hungover as heck, he had made crockpot turkey chili that was ready and waiting for me, AND he had rented me a chick flick! so I could lie on the couch and eat and cry over chick flicks the rest of the night. it was heaven.

    omg, the earrings are too cute! I can't believe your FI gave you a shower gift. Mine has just been whining b/c he doesn't understand why I got a shower and he didn't get anything equivalent, lol. I think he is really jealous of the attention the bride gets b/c he is used to getting more attention than me in our daily lives.

    What chick flick did you watch? I haven't seen a chick flick in forever but I could go for one soon!

    I know - I was absolutely shocked that he had even thought to get me a present, haha! Mine isn't jealous at all, in fact, he is quite thrilled at the gifts that I will be receiving that he will be able to use on a daily basis, even though he doesn't have to go to this party to schmooze!! Just tell your fiance that you did all the hard work to get the presents that he now gets to claim as half his :)

    He rented New Year's Eve for me! I had been wanting to see it since it came out last year, but it just came out on DVD last week. Fiance didn't really love it, but I totally did, hahaha.

    Haha yeah, he's more than happy to help me use the gifts, he just wants some attention, too! He's kind of an AW lol.

    I have seen that movie yet either, but I want too. I love chick flicks but I never seem to watch them anymore b/c my FI always vetoes them. Maybe I'll watch it one of the nights coming up where he's on call late.

    Wow.... Can we trade our FIs??

    He stuffed his face with the cupcakes I brought home from the shower and whines every night about having more. You know, cakes/cupcakes are my favorite food in the world. I finally told him that the cupcakes were for ME and to quit whining! Such an annoying brat! Haha!

    Maybe I'll have to start demanding gifts from him.

    ETA: I just rememberd, he made me a PBJ sandwich for lunch today. Ok, I think I like him.

    Meagan I thought of you when fiance and I were watching Smash last night, hahaha! I got SO MAD at Dev during last night's episode, it isn't even funny - I was fuming! and he was looking even more like my fiance than usual last night, for some reason.

    haha I think about you when I watch it too! I can NOT believe what dev did! I'm so mad because now I feel like they can't ever be together. If she forgave him I'd hate her forever. I obviously take my TV very seriously, lol.

    omg I know!! there is no way they will ever be together now. and now I hate Ivy EVEN MORE (which I didn't really ever think was going to be possible). do you think he was actually going to tell her before her phone rang and he got interrupted?? I can't wait until next Monday.

    I'm in the camp with those whose FI have never even heard of Kate Spade.  And if it didn't occur to me that he'd give me a shower gift, I'm sure it hasn't occured to him!
