Doctor Who wedding help!

Hello. I am looking for ideas for Doctor Who centerpieces for my wedding. i'd prefer them not to be flowers as I'm not real big on flowers and my mom is allergic to them.

    I plan to have a doctor who reception so I have ideas I can give you. if you look at my post in here. I suggest using the TARDIS as a box to hold something. I would say plants, they last longer than flowers and less allergies risk. You can tie a TARDIS key around the box and leave a note that says, BAD WOLF on there. Or any theme you liked on the show.
    In love since July 2010 with the man of my geeky dreams. I want to marry him by 2015. Ooooh weeee oooooh....

    My friend through a Dr Who theme.  She knitted runners that mimicked Tom Baker's scarf for each of her long tables.  She had a TARDIS card box and a TARDIS grooms' cake.  She strewed rose petals down the aisle and named her tables after companions (only one Romana) to avoid confusion).   She served sonic screwdrivers as her special drink and included several flavors of jelly babies at the candy table.

    Ahhh I am so jealous! My fiance and I are huge Doctor Who fans, but I am not sure we will be able to incorporate it into our wedding. We will probably have Doctor Who style engagement photos! :)

    Anyway, I like the idea of the TARDIS as a vase/pot and putting some greenery in it. Maybe add a bowtie to some greenery if you like the 11th Doctor.
